For front, cut a 14" (35.5 cm) length of hair and lay it out flat. Separate and spread o measure 3" (7.5 cm) wide.
Machine-stitch across center of hair.

Place one length of hair to front of head, having seam of hair along head seam. Glue in place along seam.

Place remaining hair to back of head, having seam of hair just above nape of neck. Glue in place along seam.
Pull both front sections toward back and twist into a french knot. Pin, glue or slipstitch in place.

Twist upper layer of back hair into small french knots, as many as desired.
Divide lower layer of back hair into five parts. Braid each section.
Turn under and twist braids as desired. Pin, glue of slipstitch in place.

Glue rosettes to hair as desired.
To make rosettes removable, glue each rosette to the head of a straight pin.
